Icon Design was an important design magazine run by Mondadori. I worked on it for two years and I was in charge of the layout: pacing each issue, setting the typographic hierarchy and building every feature page by page, from the opening spread to the last column.

Working for Icon Design meant more than layout. Alongside the art director I helped shape the concepts of the photo shoots and of the magazine's special sections, so that the visual idea of each story was set before the first page was designed.
